چکیده

This paper aims to reduce the gap between intensified innovative process designs and application of enzyme technologies at an industrial scale that often take full advantage microreactor systems. Soybean potato processing waste was used as source peroxidase in both free immobilized form for biodegradation Acid Violet 109 anthraquinone dye (AV109) a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) which is 0.5 mm diameter 6 m length. High efficiencies 95 76% were achieved by soybean respectively after 3 min residence microreactor, with noticeable lack hydrogen peroxide inhibition. The reactor’s design, regard its length, significantly affected efficiency. polymer membrane formation cross-linking approach oxidized pectin or peel on inner wall SEM confirmed. efficiency peroxidases inversely correlated activity, hence highest recorded activity 11 19 ? mol/min peroxidase, respectively, initial concentration 0.05%. A promising reusability AV109 confirmed, since retained 65 35% tenth cycle, respectively. LC–MS GC–MS techniques confirmed AV dye, intermediates lower molecular weight separated identified. • peroxidase. Microreactor dye. Biodegradation 95% surface. enzymes cycle.

Biodegradation of high concentrations of phenol by baker’s yeast in anaerobic sequencing batch reactor

Background: Phenol, as a pure substance, is used in many fields because of its disinfectant, germicidal, local anesthetic, and peptizing properties. Aqueous solutions of phenol are produced as waste in industries and discharged into the environment. Therefore, elevated concentrations of phenol may be found in air or water because of industrial discharge or the use of phenolic products. Method: ...

Biodegradation of azo and heterocyclic dyes by Phanerochaete chrysosporium.

Biodegradation of Orange II, Tropaeolin O, Congo Red, and Azure B in cultures of the white rot fungus, Phanerochaete chrysosporium, was demonstrated by decolarization of the culture medium, the extent of which was determined by monitoring the decrease in absorbance at or near the wavelength maximum for each dye. Metabolite formation was also monitored. Decolorization of these dyes was most exte...
